Minli is an accomplished senior executive with a track record for driving distinctive business impact while cultivating high-performing, motivated teams. She is known for her deep dedication to fostering talent and propelling career growth within her teams. Minli built and led the Business Operations function at several tech companies (Twilio, SendGrid and LinkedIn), served as Chief of Staff at Khan Academy, and spent years as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company.

She currently advises startup executives on topics spanning strategy, operations and growth. Minli graduated from Stanford University with an M.S. in Management Science and Engineering, and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. She is a mom of two boys.

Why I am an ally: At some point, everyone faces challenging situations at work, even when in the best environments. These are often times when people end up stuck, potentially making questionable knee-jerk choices, or doubting themselves too much and running the risk of spiraling negatively. Figuring out how to navigate through those situations is hard, and I found that having someone who understands, is empathetic and truthful, and who has my back, is so critical. I have been lucky to have those people when I needed them most, and I would love to give back and be that ally to others.
